Attorney Ronaldo A. Negri received his Law Degree in 1996 from the University of Buenos Aires School of Law (Universidad de Buenos Aires, Facultad de Derecho y Ciencias Sociales) and was certified as an Attorney Specialist in Corporate Economic Law in 1997.
Attorney Negri thereafter was awarded a scholarship from the Argentine Student Exchange Council (Consejo de Intercambio Estudiantil or “CADIE”) to attend the “Washington Semester and World Capitals Program” at American University in Washington, D.C., where he completed the “Business and Trade” Seminar.
From December 1996 to March 1997, attorney Negri worked as an intern in the International Law Department at the Argentine Embassy in Washington D.C. and at the American Bar Association´s International Law and Practice Division, also in Washington D.C.
From June 1997 to March 1998, attorney Negri worked as an associate attorney in the General Practice Group at the law firm of Carregal & Funes de Rioja.
From March 1998 through June 2003, attorney Negri was an associate attorney at Baker & McKenzie´s Buenos Aires office, working in the Corporate, Mergers and Acquisitions, General Practice and Environmental Law Practice Groups.
In July 2000, attorney Negri completed the course “Strategic Thinking and Game Theory for Management” at the London School of Economics and Political Science of the University of London.
On a scholarship from the Spanish Government´s Fundación Carolina, attorney Negri completed a Master´s Degree in Business Law at the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria in Madrid.
Attorney Negri acted as General Counsel for the WorldGate Group from March 2002 through June 2005, when he left to found our Firm with attorney H. Gustavo Torres. Attorney Negri is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), the Buenos Aires Bar (Colegio Público de Abogados de la Capital Federal) and the San Isidro Bar (Colegio de Abogados de San Isidro).
Attorney Negri currently acts as an advisor to the Commission on Small and Medium-Sized Businesses of the Honorable Chamber of Deputies (house of Representatives) of the Argentine National Congress. Attorney Negri is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Buenos Aires School of Law (Universidad de Buenos Aires, Facultad de Derecho y Ciencias Sociales), where he teaches courses in Commercial Law, Corporations, Unfair Competition, Corporate Reorganizations for Companies in Crisis and Bankruptcy Law.
